Hollow tapered roller bearings can cool the roller with oil to reduce the temperature rise, thereby increasing the allowable speed. However, the manufacturing process of this bearing is complex, and the requirements for the lubrication system of the machine tool are also high, and it is generally only used for horizontal spindles with special requirements.
